Summer is officially here! Free ice cream giveaways pop up along the common, tourists wander into the city, and everyone seems to have a smile on their face. With warm weather almost everyday, here are our top events to do in Boston this month!
Dragon Boat Festival
Held the weekend of June 10-11, come out to the Charles River to watch 69 teams race for first place. There will be food, vendors, arts & crafts, and performances as well. Learn about Asian-American heritage in New England, eat some food, and kick off June right!
Garden Tours in the South End
Wander around the South End with these guided tours of some of the best gardens in the city. Artists can also set up and paint the gardens of their choosing. Register here: http://www.southendgardentour.org
Copley Square Farmer’s Market
Located in the heart of Boston at Copley Square, this farmer’s market showcases a variety of vendors from Iggy’s bread to homemade honey.
Charles River
Dedicate yourself to getting back in shape by going for walks along the Charles. The best time of day to do so? We suggest super early to catch the sunrise or later in the evening to watch the sunset.
Father’s Day
With Father’s Day a few weeks away, start thinking ahead. Buy tickets to a Red Sox game, schedule a wine tasting, or start thinking of other ways to show your dad how much you care.
