It’s Tuesday morning. June 6th. The team at SPOT is ready for a day of sun, water, and drinks, but a quick glance out the window shuts us down. Like the rest of Boston, we’re wondering when summer will arrive. To help elevate the mood while we wait for this never ending winter to come to a halt, we have curated a list of the best activities to do in the city on a rainy day.
Visit a Museum
Head over to the MFA or the ICA for a day of art and culture. The ICA is currently holding an exhibit featuring prominent Boston artists. Go out and support your Bostonians.
Loew’s Theater
Venture downtown for a day at the movies. There’s nothing better than snacks and a movie on a cloudy day. Might we suggest Wonder Woman?
Visit a Cafe
With so many different cafes in Boston, you can never visit enough. Head to one of the classics like Thinking Cup, Jaho, or Tatte for the staples. If you’re feeling a little adventurous, try something new. By Chloe, a vegan comfort food style cafe just opened in the Seaport and it’s to die for.
Stay Home
Brush up on some reading or take this time to finally finish your “spring cleaning.” Either way, enjoy the dry indoors and take advantage of the sound of raindrops on your roof.
Whatever you decide to do today, don’t forget to use SPOT to help you park closer to your destination because no one wants to show up wet!
