With the three day weekend coming up most people are counting down until 5pm tonight when they can hit pause on their work schedule and celebrate just that- the working class. If your past Labor Day weekends have consisted of nothing out of the ordinary, SPOT is here to fill you in on the top activities happening in the city.

Jaws on D
Head to the Lawn on D to watch the classic Jaws movie. The event will be held at 7pm on Sunday and will feature vintage 1975 Narragansett cans for sale. Nothing better than beer and company!

Brunch on the Charles
Have you lived in Boston for years, but still have yet to try the Charles River Bistro? Head over this Saturday or Sunday (if you want drinks) to experience jazz and food on the waterfront.

ICA
The ICA’s last first Friday of the month summer edition is happening. Head to the museum for live music, a dance party and cocktails. Coupled with art of course. Admission is $15 and is 21+ only.

Chez Vous Roller Skating Party
Head to the Chez Vous in Dorchester for an all white dressed roller skating party on Sunday.
Admission is $10 and the event is 18+. RSVP early to be entered in the party’s giveaways.

Clambake
Head to the City Tap House on Monday for a good old fashioned plate of lobster, mussels, clams, sausage, potato, and corn and pair it with classic beers such as Narragansett. Top off the event while listening to live music.

Whatever your plans are for this long weekend, remember to take a break from work, relax and enjoy the kickoff to fall.
