2016 has been a very very interesting year. Honestly, we are better of without it. And hopefully 2017, will be kinder to us.
But if you want to arm yourself with more than just best wishes then remember to keep close to your new year’s resolutions.
Yeah, yeah we know. Apparently change is hard. According to Forbes, only 8% of people actually achieve their New Year’s Resolutions.
Whatever. We aren’t like the other 92%, and we don’t want you to be either. So here are two things on how to stick to your goals.
Keep It Simple
I bet you want a six pack, get rich, and a sports car. That’s nice, me too. Will I achieve it? Nope, and you won’t either. It is more sensible to set small and attainable goals throughout the year. One step at a time.
Hold Yourself Accountable
As much as your best friend and great aunt love you, they couldn’t care less if you go to the gym or not. So Keep to your why. If you don’t have a compelling enough answer for yourself, then you probably won’t stick to your resolutions since it’s not that important to you. So put yourself in the right mindset, because at the end of the day you’re the only one that has your own back.
Best wishes from the SPOT fam. Here is to hoping that 2017 will be a year of great happiness and self fulfillment.
