February brings images of flowers, chocolates, and love, but it also highlights the end of winter. Sporadic sunny days tease the start of spring and people begin to shed layers eager to escape the subzero temperatures. If you find yourself in a post holiday rut not sure of what to do, we have compiled a list of the top four events happening this month.
Watch the Super Bowl
Our beloved Patriots are scheduled to play against the Atlanta Falcons tomorrow. Who remembers the die hard fans that marched through Boylston in 2015 after that historic win? All we can say is, we are ready for round two.
Disney on Ice
We’re always looking for an excuse to visit TD garden. This month, Disney on Ice will be performing the family favorite of Finding Nemo. Buy tickets here.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day
Here it is. While some people scowl at the very thought of this day, just remember it is what you make of it. For all those lucky enough to have a partner to share it with, take time to do something extra for this person, even if it’s just washing the dishes. If not, this is a perfect day to spend a little more time with friends. Love is what you make of it.
Celebrate Chinese New Year
Although Chinese New year falls at the end of January, celebrations in Boston usually take place in February. This year, a parade will be held in Chinatown on February 12th. The parade starts at 10am and will feature martial arts demonstrations, firecrackers, and of course, the Chinese dragon.
However you decide to spend this month, just remember, we’re one step closer to sun kissed skin.
